Greetings in the name of Christ!
Again and again thank you very much for all your prayers and support to my family and the Lord’s ministry here in Singapore. Last Sunday we have 2 visitors working as nurses here. My wife did witness to them after the service and they accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Their names were Michelle and Maricel. Please pray that they can continue joining with us every Sunday. The difficulties in this country for evangelism are the pressures of work and time. Also, for the past two Sundays afternoon I lead the group of our Filipinos doing knock on doors and tract distributions to the flats near our church. It’s encouraging to see husbands and wives going house to house knocking and sharing the word of God. Shalom Baptist Church started their own Bible Institute and I’m teaching the first lesson about Baptist Polity. Presently, I have 5 Singaporean students composed of a deacon, businessmen and young people who desire to be in the full-time ministry someday.
As to my family, we are all fine by the Grace of God. We had a changed plan about Lover Joy. Instead of sending her back to the Philippines to study, I was able to find a school here offering online class with an affordable cost. Instead of buying their ticket I was able to enroll her in the said school. She is having her cession every 7 o’clock in the evening. On the daytime she still goes to work from 7:30 – 2:30. She’s the one that is funding her studies. What a blessing! She is working as monitor in a Christian school using ACE curriculum. The school knows that she is the product of ACE curriculum in the Philippines through Home School program and that’s why they hired her to work with them. Singapore is the second most expensive country in Asia and God knows our needs.
